Solara Collection

Q: I love your designs - especially the Solara collection. If I were to buy one of your Solara necklaces, with the screw-off chain enabling you to put a different pearl on the necklace, would you be able to drill a hole in a pearl I have so I could also use that pearl on the Solara necklace?

A: We would be more than happy to drill a pearl you already have to fit on the Solara chain. However there are a few caveats, the pearl needs to be large enough to accommodate the drill size necessary and the type of pearl needs to be either a South Sea or a Freshwater. Akoya pearls tend to be much more delicate and often cannot stand up to a very large drill hole. I spoke with the designer and she indicated the smallest size of pearl we could use is a 10mm. If your pearl fits into these parameters and you would like us to drill it for the Solara, you can send it to our office and we will take care of your pearl for you.
