Q: My husband purchased from Pearl Paradise a strand of pearls for my anniversary, that were just beautiful!!! I now want to purchase earrings for my daughter's 21st birthday....which ones would you suggest and what size should I be looking at.
A: I’m so glad you have been enjoying your pearls! If your daughter has similar colouring to yours and likes your strand, I would stay with the Ivory overtone and white gold. For a 21st birthday, a milestone for sure, she is likely to be finishing up school or starting her career. In this case I would suggest the Akoya pearls like yours in either the 7-7.5mm size or the 7.5-8.0mm size. If she tends to be a little more bold in her style you could select the 8.0mm, for a more classic and conservative style, the 7.5mm would probably be a better choice.
